Publisher: DazumGood LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company

This policy explains what happens to information when you use Put Me On. "We", "us" and "our" mean DazumGood LLC.
In short: Put Me On works without an account. As a guest, your data stays on your device. If you choose to sign in, we keep your profile, saved plans and planning streak on our servers so they follow you to other devices. Paid plans are billed by Stripe on the web and by Google Play in the Android app; we never see or store your card number. The Free plan shows labeled "Sponsored" cards, with no ad tracking and no advertising ID. Put Me On has no analytics or tracking tools. To find places and build plans, the app sends the place you're planning for (and, if you choose, your device location) to our server, which looks it up with the map, photo and AI services listed below.
Business accounts on Put Me On for Business are not covered by this policy; they are covered by the separate Put Me On for Business privacy policy.
1. What stays on your device
Whether or not you're signed in, Put Me On saves the following in your browser's local storage (in the Android app, the app's local storage):
- saved trips, favorites and trip ratings,
- trip funds ("Save Up"), including contributor names you type, amounts, splits, streaks and "Settle Up" balances,
- your planner choices and last results,
- settings (theme, units, hide prices, read aloud),
- the birthdate you enter (see section 13),
- Fulfill Points, badges, your referral code and plan-usage counts,
- which Sponsored cards you dismissed, and when,
- simple usage counters (for example, how many plans you've made). These are counts only, with no names, places or IDs, and they are not sent anywhere.
As a guest, we (DazumGood LLC) can't see this data. It isn't uploaded, synced, sold or shared. If you sign in, only the items listed in section 2 are also stored in your account; Save Up funds, Fulfill Points, favorites and settings stay on your device only. The app also stores its own files in your browser's cache so it works offline; that cache holds no personal data.
2. Accounts (DazumGood sign-in)
- Signing in is optional. You can keep using Put Me On as a guest.
- One sign-in for DazumGood apps. Accounts run on Supabase, our database and sign-in provider, in a project called DazumGood Accounts that is shared across DazumGood apps. The same sign-in works in other DazumGood apps.
- Ways to sign in: a one-time code sent to your email (the same email also carries a sign-in link), an optional password you add later, or Google. If you use Google, we receive your name, email address and profile photo link from Google.
- What we store for your account: your email address, how you signed in, your optional name and home city, your birthdate, your plan, and, if you add one, your password (stored by Supabase only as a hash; we can't see it). A shared DazumGood profile with your display name is also created for your sign-in.
- Birthdate: when you sign in, the birthdate you entered on your device (or that you enter at sign-in) is saved to your account. It's self-declared, used only for the age rules in section 13, and can't be changed once it's set.
- What syncs while you're signed in: your saved plans (title, stops and rating) and your planning streak. Trips you made as a guest on that device are added to your account the first time you sign in.
- Sign-in session: to keep you signed in, the app stores a sign-in session token on your device.
- You can see your account details in Profile, change your name and city, sign out, and delete your account at any time (see section 14).
3. Payments
- Web: paid plans are processed by Stripe on Stripe-hosted checkout and billing pages. We send Stripe your account email and account ID so the payment is linked to your account. We store your Stripe customer and subscription IDs and the plan, billing period, status and renewal date that Stripe reports to us. You manage or cancel billing in Stripe's Customer Portal (Manage billing in the app). See the Stripe Privacy Policy.
- Android: subscriptions and the one-time "Remove ads" purchase go through Google Play Billing. Our server confirms each purchase with Google Play, and we store the purchase token, product, order ID, purchase state and expiry that Google Play reports, linked to your account. Cancel subscriptions in Google Play > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. See the Google Privacy Policy.
- We never receive or store your card number or other payment card details. Stripe and Google handle them under their own policies.
4. Sponsored cards and ads
- Where they appear: the Free plan shows at most one card labeled "Sponsored" in the home feed and at most one per itinerary. You can dismiss them; a dismissed card stays hidden for 24 hours, and that choice is remembered on your device only. Paid plans, and "Remove ads" in the Android app, hide them.
- What they are today: our own promotions ("house ads") for Put Me On's paid plans and for Put Me On for Business. The app picks them on your device.
- No ad tracking: no ad network, no advertising ID, no ad cookies and no tracking. We don't count views or taps of Sponsored cards, and nothing about them is sent anywhere.
- Sponsored cards never appear with the Adult Fun vibe for anyone under 18 or anyone whose age we don't know.
- Paid placement by businesses: businesses on Put Me On for Business can pay for priority placement. Any place shown to you because a business paid for it is labeled "Sponsored", and it's shown only when it already matches your request. We don't give businesses your name, contact details, location or device information.
- Before anything changes: before we add third-party ads (for example Google AdMob) or start counting views or taps of Sponsored content, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
5. Location and places
- Device location is used only when you tap "Use my location", and only after you allow it. The app asks for "while using" location, once per request. The Android app asks only for approximate location, never precise or background location.
- To find places, the app sends either your coordinates or the city/area you typed, plus your chosen search radius and vibes, to our server. Our server looks it up with Geoapify, Photon (Komoot), Nominatim (OpenStreetMap), the Overpass API (OpenStreetMap) and Wikipedia, and returns place names, addresses and map positions.
- For stop photos, our server sends the place's name and map position to Wikipedia/Wikimedia and returns a freely licensed image. Your browser then loads that image directly from Wikimedia's servers.
- Our server sends these services only the place or coordinates and a search, never your name or other identity. Each service receives the request from our server, not from your device (except the photo images above).
- Server cache: to respect these services' usage limits, our server caches lookup results for 7 days. Cache entries are keyed by the place text you typed or by coordinates rounded to about 1 km (2 decimal places), and are not linked to you or your device.
6. Plans and voice requests (Google Gemini)
When custom plans are generated, our server sends your plan request to Google's Gemini API (model gemini-2.5-flash-lite). A plan request includes the place name, your choices (budget, duration, start time, party size including kids, seniors and pets, vibes, cuisine, travel needs) and a list of nearby places. A voice or typed command sends the words you said or typed (up to 300 characters) and the names and categories of your current stops. No audio, no coordinates and no identity are sent to Gemini. Our server keeps identical answers in memory for up to 15 minutes so repeat requests don't call Google again.
If Gemini doesn't answer, Put Me On uses its built-in planner on your device instead. Google processes Gemini requests under the Gemini API Additional Terms and the Google Privacy Policy. On Google's free tier, Google may use this content to improve its products, so please don't type personal details into plan or voice requests.
7. Voice and read-aloud
- Speech-to-text uses your browser's built-in speech service (the Web Speech API). The mic listens only after you tap it and stops when you pause. Your browser's maker may process the audio: for example, Chrome sends it to Google and Safari to Apple, under their own privacy policies. If you'd rather not, type in the command box instead.
- Put Me On never records, stores or uploads audio. It keeps only the words you said, in memory, and forgets them when you close the app. (See section 6 for when those words go to Gemini.)
- Read aloud uses your browser's built-in speech synthesis (
speechSynthesis) on your device. - The Android app doesn't use the microphone.
8. Our server
Our server receives the requests described in sections 3, 5 and 6. Like any web server, it sees your IP address. It uses the IP address only to limit how many requests one address can make per minute. It keeps it in memory, does not write it to disk or log it with your requests, and clears it when the server restarts. Our server doesn't set tracking or advertising cookies.
9. Links to travel and map sites
Put Me On links out to third-party sites, such as Google Flights, Google Hotels, Google Maps, Apple Maps, KAYAK, Skyscanner, Discover Cars, Rentalcars.com, Booking.com, Expedia, Squaremouth, InsureMyTrip and VisitorsCoverage. These links include your trip details (destination, length or month, number of travelers, and for maps your stops) so the site can start a search for you. When you open a link, you leave Put Me On, and that site's own privacy policy and cookies apply.
Affiliate links: we may earn a commission when you book through some of these links. It never changes your price. Today we have no affiliate partners, and no partner tracking IDs are added to links. If that changes, we'll update this policy first.
10. Sharing
When you tap Share or Copy (for example, an invite link, a plan card or a trip fund), the app hands the text, link or image to your device's share sheet or clipboard. You choose where it goes; it doesn't pass through us.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising. We share account and payment information only with the service providers named in this policy (Supabase, Stripe and Google) so they can run the features described, or when the law requires it.
11. Things Put Me On doesn't do
Put Me On has no analytics or tracking tools. It doesn't use an advertising ID or ad network, and it doesn't sell your data. We'll update this policy before we launch any feature that collects new information.
12. Android app
- Location is approximate only; the app doesn't request precise location, and it's used only when you tap "Use my location".
- The Android app doesn't use the microphone, doesn't read the advertising ID, and doesn't run in the background.
- Purchases in the Android app go through Google Play Billing (see section 3).
13. Children and age rules
Put Me On is for people 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
The first time you use Put Me On, the app asks for your birthdate. This is self-declared. It's stored on your device and, if you sign in, in your account (section 2), and it's used only for the age rules here. If it shows you're under 13, the app is blocked on that device. If you sign in and your birthdate shows you're under 13, we don't keep an account: we delete the Put Me On data that was created (and the sign-in itself, unless another DazumGood app uses it) and block the app on that device. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email [email protected] and we'll delete it.
The Adult Fun vibe suggests bars, nightclubs and other 18+ or 21+ venues and is for users 18 and older only. It's available only when your birthdate shows you're 18 or older, whether you pick it by tap or by voice. Some venues require you to be 21 and show ID.
14. Keeping and deleting your data
- On your device: data stays until you delete it. Erase it any time from Settings → Privacy → Erase all my data on this device, or by clearing site data for Put Me On in your browser settings (or uninstalling the app).
- Your account: we keep your account data while your account is open. Delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete my account), on the web at https://putmeon.pages.dev/profile, or by emailing [email protected].
- Deleting erases your Put Me On profile, saved plans, streak and purchase records from our servers right away, and erases that device's Put Me On data.
- Your DazumGood sign-in is also deleted, unless you use it for another DazumGood app (for example, you have purchases or subscriptions there). In that case only your Put Me On data is erased and the sign-in stays for that app.
- Cancel any paid plan first (Manage billing on the web, or Google Play subscriptions on Android). Stripe and Google keep their own billing records as the law requires.
- On our server: apart from account data, we keep only the place lookup cache described in section 5 (7 days) and the short in-memory caches in sections 6 and 8. None of it is tied to you.
- Third parties: Google, Apple, Stripe and the services in section 5 keep data under their own policies.
15. Your rights
We hold the account data described above; you can see it in Profile, change your name and city, and delete it any time. Data you keep only on your device is under your control as described in section 14. If you live in a US state with privacy rights (for example, rights to know, access, correct or delete your personal information), email [email protected] and we'll respond as the law requires. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising.
16. Security
Requests between the app and our server use HTTPS. Account data is protected by row-level security, so only you can read your own records. Our API keys and server keys stay on the server, never in the app. Data on your device is protected by your browser and device; anyone who can unlock your device can open the app, so use a screen lock. No method is perfectly secure; if you suspect a problem, tell us at [email protected].
17. Where we operate and governing law
DazumGood LLC is a South Carolina limited liability company, and Put Me On is operated from the United States. This policy is governed by the laws of South Carolina and applicable US federal law. The service providers listed above may process information in other countries.
18. Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above, and for important changes we'll tell you in the app.
